Botox Treatments
Botox is an FDA-approved injectable treatment made from botulinum toxin type A. When administered in small and controlled doses, this powerful neurotoxin can be used to selectively and harmlessly immobilize small facial muscles. Botox uses the botulinum toxin to relax small facial muscles responsible for the formation of creases and wrinkles in the skin. By injecting Botox into the muscles beneath the skin, the small muscles responsible for forming wrinkles can be “frozen” to prevent wrinkle development.
PRP Hair Loss Treatment
PRP is derived from the patient’s blood. We withdraw a small amount of blood, then spin it in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood. The plasma is then mixed with a special activator and injected just above the dermis layer of the scalp, in very small amounts to the entire scalp. The PRP helps repair blood vessels and promote cell growth, acting as a kind of super fertilizer to tired and dying hair follicles. It has been shown to have very good results in hair growth and thickening.
