Photofacial

IPL Acne Treatment is a 30-40 minute procedure with minimal to no discomfort. IPL Acne treatment is an effective light-based therapy that is now revolutionizing the treatment of acne. The IPL Acne treatment destroys the most common bacteria that causes acne without drugs, without pain and with little to no downtime. Redness and swelling that sometimes occur after a treatment will fade shortly. This treatment targets the bacteria in the skin, as well as inflamed sebaceous glands that contribute to breakouts.

Chemical Peel

A chemical peel at G&M can be an excellent solution to acne. While many people reserve chemical peels for anti-aging treatments, certain peels can also help treat the pimples and inflammation associated with acne. Our custom chemical peels at G&M allow our expertly trained and licensed providers to determine which solutions will best suit your skin type.

Presciption

If you are experiencing facial breakouts that you think might be acne or a skin lesion, an evaluation by your primary care physician is highly advised. In treating recurring acne, G&M may recommends the use of prescription lotions, creams, gels, or a combination of all 3, including topical and antibiotic treatments. If desired results are not achieved with this regimen, oral antibiotics may be prescribed in cases of severe skin issues.
